Sometimes all it takes is an image to take you somewhere...and this one took me to Maine this afternoon, feeling the chilly wind, smelling the sea, hearing the gulls sing or screech depending on your patience, the wet sand alive with creatures working, and the promise of a steaming bowl of chowder with a crisp wine, some crusty bread and the smell of salt on your skin and in your hair.

somewhere today on Maine's coast
