this morning, before opening, around 9:30, while having coffee, Daniel and I noticed a large bird that walked into the door...before opening...a wild turkey...yes, in the city...called animal control...turkey hid for a time under a table, but tried to fly a few times, big wing span flapping, no damage...whew...caught, safely set free down by the river...turkey is not on the menu at the Blue Nile Cafe...for a while, Daniel considered it...
