Nick Haines of KCPT continues to provoke thought without provocation, asking hard questions. He’s arguably the best moderator in the Kansas City area. It’s interesting how he balances crisp questions with attentive listening and humor. I’ve seen him in action a few times, most recently at the Kansas City Public Library, facilitating a discussion about civility in politics. This week he headed the Blunt-Carnahan debate…see it at the KCPT archive. Probably the most spirited exchange this year due to Nick’s wise leadership.
