The adjective artisan seems to be overused at the grocery store. Today I noticed that the breads and hand-dipped chocolates have the word before the product. Tonight is First Friday in the Crossroads art district here. Last night, Britney Spears performed at the Sprint Center. When I walked downtown early last evening I was stunned at the amount of people who looked like Britney Spears. What frightened me the most were the people who did not look like Britney Spears who tried to dress like Brittney Spears. Is Britney Spears an artisan?

In as much as Brittany can carry a tune and belt out a song, yes, she is an artist. Alas, the group of artists contains some really strange and troubled ones. As you already know, it often goes with the territory.
