Hogan's Bridge

The Masters tournament began today. At the 12th hole, a par 3, players today hit an eight iron 147 yards off the tee. An eight iron. I can barely hit an eight iron 120 yards. Some hit the ball too hard and landed in the bunker behind the green. The 12th hole is the second hole in what is called “amen corner”…11, 12, and 13. Amen because when you clear those three tough holes you say to yourself, “amen”. Arnold Palmer was the first to tee off, at 7:50am.
