filling station

This picture, taken by “vinduhl”, shows the interior of the north side of the Kansas City Library, Plaza Branch. The main room of the library is a spacious open area with arranged bookshelves and seating areas allowing for privacy while maintaining a free relaxing setting. I smile when I walk in the doors on the southside, looking through the expanse out these windows north to have the mural of the city stretched in extreme cinemascope, wider than the human peripheral vision. Sitting in a chair, reading with the northern light, with the city painted on the windows, feels very serene.
