geopoliticaldoodah

Tonight after reading some interesting rich prose, I’ve come to the conclusion that for the foreseeable future, dumping the political doo dah and foreign policy news, the conflict discussions here and the emerging crisis there is a good thing because it’s become incredibly distracting and irrelevant. The foreign policy behemoth has ample critics and appointed stewards competent and well compensated for their steering abilities. In thinking and writing about it, the results seem a bit empty, and when returning to fiction writing, the residue fogs the vision, smears the lens, and dims the light. It’s great practice in sentence construction, though. For now, enough’s quite enough, saturation achieved, sips rather than gulps in the future.
