Get your mind out of the gutter, please. Many people believe that “missionaries” can save the very broken and bankrupt Kansas City Missouri School District.Missionaries don’t stay. Missionaries come and go. Missionaries rarely appreciate authentic indigenous cultures for they’re there to “save” and not truly contribute. That’s my opinion.
My solution to the problem is simple but very challenging. The people who live in the district must formulate solutions, free of outside politics and influence. Send the missionaries packing as soon as possible.
